Free Appreciation and Affirmation Coloring Pages for Kids and Adults

My kids and I take breaks from being indoors and walk around our neighborhood, being mindful to keep our 6 ft social distance while talking to our neighbors. As we walk around we see sidewalk chalk drawing of rainbows and words of appreciation for everyone who is helping out in this COVID 19 pandemic.

Some houses having drawings or artwork of rainbows signifying how we are all in this together! Those really touched me so I went home and created these positive affirmations and appreciations signs.

I made these coloring pages for my sons to color and hang on our living room window to show our appreciation to all the people who are on the frontline fighting COVID-19.

It started with coloring pages to show our appreciation for the nurses and doctors, grocery workers, mail carriers. But then I realized that everyone should be acknowledged in this fight so I added more people. I’m sure I’missing some, so I created designs with just “Thank You” and “We Love You!”

I also included teachers here because as a parent I really appreciate my kids’ teachers more now. They definitely have the patience and compassion to deal with my kids all day!

I’m including one coloring page with no text so your kid can write in whoever they are thankful for.

Usage and Printing

  • These coloring pages are for personal uses only. Please do not copy and resell these printables.

  • These can be printed on regular copy paper. It is best on cardstock if you are intending to use markers or watercolor. I used Staedtler watercolor pencils and markers from Muji.

  • They are 8×10″ design to be printed on an 8.5×11 copy paper or cardstock. You can easily print and frame these into a matted 8×10 frame.

  • Some of the designs, especially the ones with the florals are small so you need coloring pencils or fine point markers.

Coloring in Appreciation Signs for nurses, doctors, law enforcements, etc.
  • You can color these in and stick them up on your window or door.

  • Color them in to lower your anxiety about what is going on around the world. It took me 20 mins to color my floral “We love Our Doctors” sign. I felt so relax and was able to enjoy coloring with my 3-year-old without looking at my phone or wanting to go see what’s on the news.

  • Send the positive affirmation signs via email to family and friends. Or resize it into a card and snail mail out.
