St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with a fun and educational activity for your little ones? Benefits of playing this Count and Color St.Patrick’s Day activity for kids
This activity page might look like a simple activity to keep your kid busy, but there is a great deal of learning going on!
Visual discrimination: Enhances focus and the ability to differentiate between shapes and details.
Fine motor skills: Improves grip strength and fine motor control while using pencils, crayons, or other writing tools.
Memory: Develops memory as children remember what they’re searching for and match similar items.
Counting and number formation: Promotes counting skills and proper number formation. Encourage further discussion by asking about quantities (e.g., which item has the least, the most).
Your freebie includes three activity pages with 3 levels of difficulty: easy, harder, and hardest.
Usage and Printing
Print these Count and Color St.Patrick’s Day activity pages on 8.5×11 copy paper. Or you can print on cardstock if you intend to use markers or watercolors. I love my Staedler watercolor pencils and markers from Muji.

Download this free printable I-Spy Woodland Animals activity page for your little preschooler to learn how to count and write numbers.
Day 12 of November of Giving Free Printables
This free I-Spy woodland animal activity page will get your kids counting and writing numbers in a fun way with these cute woodland animals and foliage.
Download and print out the I-SPY Woodland Animals activity page. Ask your child how many animals, leaves, or mushrooms they can find. Use pencil or markers to circle the animals, leaves, or mushrooms. Write the number in the box with the question mark.
If you want to reuse this activity page multiple times, I recommend laminating it or putting into a sheet protector. I, personally, put them into these sheet protectors. I do have a laminating machine, but I recently realized that you can’t recycle the paper if you laminating it. With the sheet protector, once you’re done using the activity page, you can simply take it out of the sheet protector and put them in the recycle bin.
If you have Amazon Kindle Unlimited, I recommend these free counting books. They are also available in paperback.

I love Amazon Kindle Unlimited for my family. It has lots of Minecraft books for my 7 year old son. There are really cute preschooler books for my 4 year old. Although sometimes we end up with books about fart and poop. hmmm. And that’s to say that they have books for every kid. I almost forgot, it also has great books for moms and dads.
I wanted to cancel my membership after the first month because of budget reasons, but my 7 year old said he would give up some of his allowance money he had accumulated since 3 to pay for it. I’m so proud of my bookworm for using his money for books instead of toys.
So if you’re curious about Amazon Kindle Unlimited, try it FREE for one month!
