Looking for a last-minute Mother’s Day gift? Why not print out some free floral bookmarks and give them to your mom on Sunday? They’re easy to make, and your mom is sure to appreciate the gesture. Plus, she can use them to mark her place in her favorite book.
If your mom loves flowers, these botanical books would make wonderful gifts paired with the printable bookmarks. You can also include these with a lovely reading journal. Mom can keep track of all the books she’s read while using the bookmarks to hold the place of her current book.
Personalize the bookmarks
You can personalized these bookmarks using a free online editing program called, Canva. Canva doesn’t accept PDFs, which is what format my downloads are in. You can convert the PDF to a JPG using I LOVE PDF. I love this free site. You can do so many things to your PDF files – merge them, split them, compress them, etc.
UPDATED 5/22 : You can now download pdfs onto Canva. On the home page, select Create A Design then Import File icon. Select your pdf to open it.
To personalize your bookmarks, open up Canva. If you don’t already have an account, simply sign up. It’s free!
Follow the video below to personalize your Mother’s Day bookmarks.
Then you need to create a new design that is 10×8″, which is the size of the bookmark freebie. Follow the step in the video to do that.
Once the white design is open, you need to upload the Mother’s Day floral bookmarks file that you converted from PDF to JPG.
Scale it to fit the 10×8 white canvas.
Click on the text icon in the left hand menu. Type your wording. You can change font type, size, colors, spacing between letters, spacing between lights and do special effects.
Once you personalized your bookmarks, download it as PDF print for best printing quality.
