You’ll get this one design in two rectangular tag sizes: 2 x 3 inches and 2.35 x 3.50 inches. The sizes are ideal for favor bags, small treats, or for tucking into gift boxes.

SUPPLIES

  • Download the gift tag file at the bottom of this post.
  • White cardstock to print your tags onto. The copy paper is too thin, curled, and less vibrant than printing on white cardstock.
  • A hole punch.
  • Ribbon or baker’s twine.
  • Paper trimmer or scissors. I just got a new Fiskars paper trimmer, and it’s so much better than my previous one. This one has a metal wire, so you know exactly where you’re cutting.

Instructions

  • Print your gift tags onto white cardstock.
  • Punch a hole with your hole puncher.
  • String a ribbon or baker’s twine.
  • Fill in the To and From sections. Write a sweet message in the back of the tag.
  • Attach it to your gift box or bag.
  • If you want to make a lunch note, you have to print it, then cut it out and place it in a lunchbox for a sweet surprise.

Fingerprint Snowman Snow Globe Craft for Little Hands

Fingerprint Snowman Snow Globe Craft for Little Hands

Fingerprint snowman snow globe crafts are a simple and cozy way to celebrate winter with young children at home. This printable gives you an easy, low-prep seasonal activity that works beautifully for quiet afternoons, family craft time, and simple holiday moments. It also fits perfectly into classroom settings as a winter or Christmas activity when you want something calm and creative.

Children decorate the snowman and snowy scene using their fingerprints, turning a simple black-and-white page into a one-of-a-kind winter keepsake. Every snow globe turns out a little different, which is part of what makes this activity so special. It’s creative without being overwhelming and calm enough for even the youngest learners.

What You’ll Need

This winter, fingerprint art activity uses just a few simple supplies:

  • Fingerprint Snowman Snow Globe printable (end of the post)
  • White cardstock (recommended for sturdier art)
  • Washable paint or ink pads in soft winter colors
  • Baby wipes or a damp cloth for easy clean-up
  • Optional: crayons or markers for extra decorating

How to Make the Snow Globe

  1. Print the snow globe page on white cardstock.
  2. Set out small amounts of washable paint or open ink pads in light winter shades such as pale blue, gray, or soft red.
  3. Invite children to dip one finger into the paint and gently press it onto the snowman and snowy areas inside the globe.
  4. Encourage children to place fingerprints wherever they like — on the snowman’s body, falling snow, or the base of the globe.
  5. Set the artwork aside to dry completely.
  6. Optional: Once dry, add extra details with crayons or markers.

Why This Craft Works So Well

This fingerprint snowman craft supports fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, and sensory exploration. It also encourages creativity and self-expression while keeping the process calm and manageable. Because it’s low-prep and easy to clean up, it works exceptionally well for preschool, Pre-K, kindergarten, and early childhood settings.

Displaying your Monogram Wall Art Printables

1. Put these monogram wall art in a big frame with a white mat for 8×10 photo. This way you can just print the design onto 8.5×11 cardstock without having to trim it down to fit an 8×10 frame.

Here are some beautiful frames that would be lovely for this printable. Some are 8×10 and one is 11×14.

2. Use magnetic poster hanger frames.  I have these in several different sizes. It’s so easy to change signs with the magnetic poster hanger frame.  Just put your sign between the two magnetic pieces of wood and hang it up on the wall. I like that they are really light weight and has no glass that my kids can break.

3. Print the monogram printable onto magnetic paper so you can put on your refrigerator or any magnetic board.

4. Use washi tapes for a creative and fun way to display your printable calendar on the wall. Washi tapes come in many different sizes and designs. You can also use these for your planners or cut them out as stickers for the kids. I am loving these right now.

5. Use a string and paper clips for a quick display of your printables. I actually have string lights that came with paper clips to hold photos. It’s not longer available at Target, but it’s similar to this one.

6. The simplest way is to use regular tape to put your printables up on the wall.

Alternative to Hanging Up on Wall

  1. You can also use these fall monogram wall art printable as a planner cover or divider. Simply print out, punch holes and put them in your binder.

2. Use as a digital planner cover, divider, or sticker. You can convert this pdf into an image such as JPG or PNG by using any free online pdf converter programs. I use this one.
