Hi there! I can’t believe it’s June already, but I’m so ready for school to be over and summer to begin!
For the June calendar, I used these beautiful strawberry-themed digital papers from Free Pretty Things For You! If you love free cliparts and digital papers, go check out this website. It’s been updated recently and is so pretty to look at. The sun and ice-cream June calendar were made using clipart from Canva.
Printing and Usage
These printables are for personal use only. If you like to share the June 2020 calendar with family and friends please send them a link to this post and not to the files themselves.
You can print these on copy paper or on cardstock. I love to print my calendar on this cardstock because I use markers on mine and they don’t bleed through the cardstock.
They are 8×10 designed to be printed on 8.5×11 paper, leaving you space to punch holes to put into your binder without messing up the design. You can also frame the calendar. Use an erase marker to write on the glass.

If you’re tired of the kids watching Netflix or Disney+ for 3 hours straight print these adorable caticorns, unicorn, and even caticorn mermaid coloring pages for some quality peaceful time together.
Coloring with your kids can be a great bonding time. It also teaches you to be more present with your kids. I know for me, I’m more relax and less tempted to look at my cell phone or tablet.
It has also struck some really interesting conversations. There were really deep questions from my 7-year-old about the current pandemic when we colored in these coloring pages for the people on the frontline fighting the coronavirus.
Possible questions or statements for your kid after he finishes coloring or during your coloring activity:
I see you colored the unicorn’s horn this color. Why did you pick that color?
Do you believe in unicorns?
Do you think unicorns have magical powers?
What are some of the unicorns magical powers?
What are some of your magical powers?
If you can be a caticorn, a unicorn, or a caticorn mermaid, which would you be?
As your child is telling you about his coloring page, write down the answers directly on his coloring page. Ask your child’s permission first to write on his wonderful piece of art. Some kids get really upset. So be respectful of your child’s work. My kid did not mind me doing so. If he does mind, just write what he says on a post-it note or another piece of paper and attach it to the drawing. It’s fun to go back and read these with him when he’s older. My 7-year-old loves reading his early drawing and coloring pages.
Coloring and talking to your kid will also encourage reading and writing in the future. After watching me write, my 3-year-old is now writing me love notes and asking me to read them to him.
What kind of conversation will you have with your child about unicorns, caticorns, and caticorn mermaids?
PRINTING AND USAGE
You are welcome to use these any way you want personally. Please do not claim these as your own and resell them.
You can print these on regular 8.5×11 copy paper. If you’re using markers or watercolors I recommend printing on 65 lb cardstock so that it doesn’t bleed through your paper.

Free Appreciation and Affirmation Coloring Pages for Kids and Adults
My kids and I take breaks from being indoors and walk around our neighborhood, being mindful to keep our 6 ft social distance while talking to our neighbors. As we walk around we see sidewalk chalk drawing of rainbows and words of appreciation for everyone who is helping out in this COVID 19 pandemic.
Some houses having drawings or artwork of rainbows signifying how we are all in this together! Those really touched me so I went home and created these positive affirmations and appreciations signs.
I made these coloring pages for my sons to color and hang on our living room window to show our appreciation to all the people who are on the frontline fighting COVID-19.
It started with coloring pages to show our appreciation for the nurses and doctors, grocery workers, mail carriers. But then I realized that everyone should be acknowledged in this fight so I added more people. I’m sure I’missing some, so I created designs with just “Thank You” and “We Love You!”
I also included teachers here because as a parent I really appreciate my kids’ teachers more now. They definitely have the patience and compassion to deal with my kids all day!
I’m including one coloring page with no text so your kid can write in whoever they are thankful for.
Usage and Printing
These coloring pages are for personal uses only. Please do not copy and resell these printables.
These can be printed on regular copy paper. It is best on cardstock if you are intending to use markers or watercolor. I used Staedtler watercolor pencils and markers from Muji.
They are 8×10″ design to be printed on an 8.5×11 copy paper or cardstock. You can easily print and frame these into a matted 8×10 frame.
Some of the designs, especially the ones with the florals are small so you need coloring pencils or fine point markers.
You can color these in and stick them up on your window or door.
Color them in to lower your anxiety about what is going on around the world. It took me 20 mins to color my floral “We love Our Doctors” sign. I felt so relax and was able to enjoy coloring with my 3-year-old without looking at my phone or wanting to go see what’s on the news.
Send the positive affirmation signs via email to family and friends. Or resize it into a card and snail mail out.
