If your mom loves flowers, these botanical books would make wonderful gifts paired with the printable bookmarks. You can also include these with a lovely reading journal. Mom can keep track of all the books she’s read while using the bookmarks to hold the place of her current book.
Personalize the bookmarks
You can personalize these bookmarks using a free online editing program called Canva. Canva doesn’t accept PDFs, which is the format of my downloads. You can convert the PDF to a JPG using I LOVE PDF. I love this free site. You can do so many things to your PDF files—merge them, split them, compress them, etc.
UPDATED 5/22: You can now download PDFs onto Canva. On the home page, select Create A Design, then the Import File icon. Select your PDF to open it.
To personalize your bookmarks, open Canva. If you don’t already have an account, simply sign up—it’s free!
Follow the video below to personalize your Mother’s Day bookmarks.
Then you need to create a new design that is 10×8″, which is the size of the bookmark freebie. Follow the steps in the video to do that.
Once the white design is open, you must upload the Mother’s Day floral bookmarks file converted from PDF to JPG.
Scale it to fit the 10×8 white canvas.
Click on the text icon in the left-hand menu. Type your wording. You can change font type, size, colors, spacing between letters, spacing between lines, and do special effects.
Once you have personalized your bookmarks, download them as a PDF print for the best printing quality.
Looking for a thoughtful last-minute Mother’s Day card? I’ve made a lovely purple floral folded card just for you! It’s simple, elegant, and easy to print at home. Whether you’re giving it to your mom, grandma, or someone special, this card adds a personal touch they’ll cherish.
WHY YOU NEED THIS MOTHER’S DAY CARD
There are so many free Mother’s Day printable cards out there, why do you need to have this one?
1. Great Last Minute Option—You’re on my blog because you probably forgot that this Sunday is Mother’s Day. Or you’ve concentrated so much on what to get Mom that you forgot she wants a lovely handwritten card from you.
2. It’s FREE – With everything going up these days, I’m sure buying mom gifts will cost a lot more. You don’t want to get a $5 card on top of that. You need something cheap? What’s better than cheap? FREE!
3. It’s pretty—this gorgeous purple floral design fills the whole card, front and back!
HOW TO USE IT
This purple floral Mother’s Day greeting card is 5×7 inches and folded. You can use it as a folded card, a flat card (simply cut it in half instead of folding it), or framed in a 5″x 7″ photo frame. If you’re hosting a Mother’s Day party, this would also make a beautiful party decoration.
Before you download the card, please note that all the printables on this blog are for personal use only. Please do not redistribute or sell them. If you want to share with family and friends, please send them to this post and not directly to the file. Thank you.
WHAT TO DO FOR MOM
Kinda stuck on what to give or do for mom this Mother’s Day? Here are some really easy things you can do.
1. Make her her favorite breakfast, place it on a tray with this Mother’s Day card, and let her enjoy it in bed.
2. Maybe not bother her first thing in the morning! (Never happened to me!).
3. Get her a flower or plant. If you have little kids, let them color in a flower bouquet for mom.
4. Simply give her this card alone, along with a sentimental note about why she is the best mother ever!
